*Please note that fees for internships in China are not included in the above fees.
*Textbooks and materials are not included in the tuition fees, students can expect to spend between $1000-$1200 for textbooks and materials for the Acupuncture & Moxibustion Diploma Program, and $1500-$2000 for textbooks and materials for the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner Programs.
Eight Branches strives to accommodate all students who demonstrate a desire to study at our facility. To this effect we have structured a program that offers substantial academic value at a comparatively low cost. Those students in need of financial aid are invited to contact our registration office to discuss payment options.
Students enrolled in the Acupuncture & Moxibustion Diploma Program, TCMP Diploma Program and Advanced TCMP Diploma Program may be eligible, if qualified, for loans, grants, or awards granted under the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP).
Please note that students receiving OSAP funding are required to maintain a full course load for the duration of their program and must complete their program in the designated time for full-time studies.

Once you’ve registered and started your application you’ll be asked some very specific questions pertaining to our institution.

Type in the program name you have applied for (Acupuncture, TCMP, or Advanced) in the search bar. You will then be taken to a section where you can choose the program year. Please choose year 1 if you are a new student. If you are entering or are in your second year please choose year 2. If you are a transfer student or are unsure please contact our administration.

Our school offers scholarships to graduates of a Diploma Program at Eight Branches or students currently enrolled and with 2nd year status and pursuing full-time studies. Candidates must enrol for the full program and attend all classes, as they are available. Candidates must maintain good financial standing and must maintain a GPA above 80%.

Academic Transfers will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Materials from previous course work will be examined and students may be required to demonstrate coursework knowledge through oral or written examination.
The total fee for bulk transfer is $300. Individual courses can be transferred at a rate of $50/course.
All of our programs have been approved as vocational training by the Government of Canada, and are HST exempt. We provide students with an annual T2202a form for tuition tax credits.
Our Tuition Promise: The rate of tuition paid upon your first registration will not increase as long as you are consistently enrolled in your program.
Fees for the diploma programs are structured on a by-credit basis; each credit costs $150 for full-time study, $200 for part-time study. One credit is equivalent to 15 hours of study. The full-time hourly tuition rate is $10/hour. In order to attain “full-time status” students are required to take 16 credits or more per term
