Tai Chi (Taiji Quan) is an internal Chinese martial art practiced for both its defence training and its health benefits.  It is graceful, relaxed, slow and fluid, like a slow-motion dance. Unlike other practices that exercise specific systems or parts of the body – nervous system, endocrine system, heart, kidneys – Taiji Quan is a whole body, whole mind exercise. It treats health systemically.  It helps to restore the body to its original “program”, one that is uncorrupted by stress, pollution and disease.
