Zen Shiatsu and Thai Massage
 |
Dionne Jobin ZSP, TMT
Dionne has been studying and practicing different forms of body and energy work for more than a decade. These include: Zen Shiatsu, Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Temple Bodywork and Thai Massage. Her work is also influenced by her studies in Traeger, Cranio Sacral and Reiki.
Zen Shiatsu is done on a mat on the floor, and includes stretching and working with the meridians using palms, thumbs, elbows and knees.
Thai Massage is often referred to as Thai Yoga Massage. It can be used in combination with Zen Shiatsu and is often experienced as passive yoga.
Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Temple Bodywork is done to music while the practitioner performs a type of rhythmical dance-like motion similar to Tai Chi. Memories stored at the cellular level are released, helping to create a new balance and harmony. Grapeseed oil is applied with long flowing strokes using primarily the practitioner's forearms. Lomi stimulates the lymphatic, circulatory and nervous systems at the cellular level.

“…Dionne’s rare capacity to create a safe space, physically, emotionally, psychologically and spiritually…”
“…calm, soothing, grounded and present energy … in the care and hands of a balanced, nurturing human being who projects peace and caring …”
