Centre offer a wide range of complementary therapies that can be used to treat both symptoms and the root causes of illness.
Classes
Eight Branches Healing Arts Centre contains a 700 square foot, ambient studio that hosts a variety of martial arts and exercise classes. These classes emphasize mind-body awareness.
Programs
The Eight Branches Academy of Eastern Medicine offers students a comprehensive education with a firm foundation in Traditional Chinese Medicine.



Meditation and contemplative practices are common to most spiritual traditions. One aspect of meditation, which neuroscientific research describes as “attention-focussed” awareness, teaches us how to be present in this moment without judgement. Mindfulness meditation, which is based on Eastern practices, has become mainstream and it is currently being utilized within medical, psychological and healing contexts. This training begins to bring us mental ease and even helps us to become freed from negative habits. As a practice it traces its roots back to the time of the historical Buddha, and it begins with simple, yet not easy, practices of following breath or other objects of attention.
