Acupuncture, TCM and Moxibustion

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Acupuncture treat a wide variety of symptoms and conditions.  The World Health Organization has identified specific conditions that have been treated effectively with TCM and acupuncture.  They include:

Addiction Facial paralysis Menstrual problems
Allergies Fatigue Menopause
Anxiety Fibromyalgia Nausea
Arthritis Gastritis PMS
Cold & Flu Headaches Sports injuries
Cough Indigestion Stress
Constipation Infertility Skin conditions
Depression Immune disorders Sciatica
Diarrhea Insomnia Urination disorders

The theory and practice of acupuncture is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine, a comprehensive natural health care system that has been used in Asia for thousands of years.  Acupuncturists stimulate “acupuncture points” found at specific locations on the surface of the body by inserting very thin needles through the skin or with heat and/or finger-pressure.

Chinese herbal medicine is one of the great herbal systems of the world, with an unbroken tradition going as far back as 3rd century BC.  In most Asian hospitals, it is practiced in conjunction with Western medicine and thus is sustained by current scientific research.
